This 7-day safari itinerary begins with a journey from Nairobi to Sweetwaters in the Mt. Kenya region, where you get to explore the Sweetwaters game ranch. It then takes you to Lake Nakuru National Park, renowned for its white and black rhinos and diverse bird species. You will visit Lake Naivasha, with optional activities like a boat ride or nature walk on Crescent Island. The journey continues to the Masai Mara Game Reserve, famous for its abundant wildlife and the annual migration of wildebeest and zebras. On the final day you will experience a full day of game viewing in the Mara before returning to Nairobi.

Day 1: Nairobi – Sweetwaters

Pick up from your hotel After breakfast then proceed to Mt. Kenya region arriving in time of Early Lunch, Afternoon visit to Sweetwater’s game ranch. Dinner and overnight stay at Sweetwater’s tented camp. Sweetwater’s is the only sanctuary for rehabilitation in Kenya of these widely abused chimpanzees with two groups living in an environment as close to their natural habitat as possible.

Day 2: Sweetwaters – Lake Nakuru National Park

After breakfast depart Ol-pejeta to Lake Nakuru National Park, Arriving in time for Lunch after Lunch afternoon game drives, Lake Nakuru’s is know as the Home of the White and Black rhinos and the over 400 species of birds found here. The lake itself is a soda lake on the floor of the rift valley. The sight of the at times millions of flamingos is quite spectacular. From a distance the lake appears ringed in pink. The Lake has also earned a reputation as an important haven for endangered species- particularly the Rothschild Giraffe and the black and white rhino. Lions, waterbuck, buffalo and baboons are all residents here.

Day 3: Lake Nakuru National Park – Lake Naivasha

After Breakfast Morning game drive latter depart to Lake Naivasha arriving in time for lunch at Lake Naivasha visit Hells Gate National park as well we have optional boat ride. Alternatively, a nature walk at Crescent Island is an excellent way to see wild animals while on foot. The Island is a private game sanctuary, which is home to zebra, wildebeest, gazelle, Vervet monkeys, hares, genet cats, waterbuck and giraffe. Overnight at Lake Naivasha Simba Lodge or Lake Naivasha Sopa Lodge.

Day 4: Lake Naivasha – Masai Mara Game Reserve

After breakfast and proceed to Masai Mara to arrive in good time for Lunch. Late afternoon game drives in masai Mara offers wildlife in such variety and abundance that it is difficult to believe: over 450 species of animals have been recorded here. You will easily see lions, rhinos, hippos, crocodiles, giraffe, wildebeests, zebras, buffalo, warthogs, hyenas, jackals, wild dogs, buffalo, leopard, many kinds of antelopes and elephant. It is in the Mara that perhaps the most spectacular event of the natural world takes place. This is the annual migration of millions of wildebeest and zebra from the Serengeti (Tanzania) in search of water and pasture. Dinner and overnight at the Mara Sopa Lodge.

Day 5: Masai Mara Game Reserve – visit masai village

After breakfast we will proceed on a full day of game viewing within the reserve. The landscape here is scenic savannah grassland on rolling hills. The reserve is the best park for game in Kenya as it has an extensive road and track network which allows for close range viewing and photography. Break for your picnic lunch at the hippo pool, looking out for hippos and crocodile. Dinner and overnight accommodations is at the Lodge.

Day 6: Full Day Masai Mara Game Reserve

Full day spent exploring the park in search of the big 5 – Optional balloon safari can be arranged at an extra cost of US$ 400 per person. Dinner and overnight stay at Mara Leisure Lodge or Sopa Lodge The Mara offers wildlife in such variety and abundance that it is difficult to believe: over 450 species of animals have been recorded here. You will easily see lions, rhinos, hippos, crocodiles, giraffe, wildebeests, zebras, buffalo, warthogs, hyenas, jackals, wild dogs, buffalo, leopard, many kinds of antelopes and elephant. Day 7: Masai Mara Game Reserve – Nairobi

Early breakfast will be followed by a day of tracking game with your guide in this park of savannah grassland. The driver will drop you at the camp for breakfast. Afterwards, you will depart to Nairobi with lunch enrote. Arriving in the evening to be dropped off at the airport to connect flight back home.
