11 Days Samburu, Aberdares, Lake Nakuru, Masai Mara, Serengeti, Ngorongoro, Manyara, Nairobi Tanzania Kenya Safari Tour
Day 1: Nairobi – Samburu National Reserve
Penfam pick you from your Nairobi hotel or at JKI Airport upon arrival early morning. And begin with the combined Kenya Tanzania Safari briefing. After depart for the Samburu game reserve. This is a 5 hours scenic drive around Mt. Kenya and through the equator crossing. Later to arrive at the Samburu lodge/similar in time for lunch and check in.
A game drive during the afternoon in the Samburu Game Reserve in search for the Big five except the Rhino. Other unique wildlife species found include Reticulated Giraffe, Grevy’s Zebra, Beisa Oryx and the Blue legged Somali Ostrich not found any where else.
Later to return to the Samburu lodge/similar for Dinner and overnight stay.

Day 2: Samburu National Reserve – Aberdare National Park
To begin with an early morning Samburu safari game drive, later return to the lodge for breakfast. Later depart from Samburu for the Aberdares National Park. Generally, this is a 3 hours scenic drive around Mt. Kenya, and through the equator crossing again. Ordinarily on a good clear day the Mt. Kenya snow caps are visible. Later arriving in good time for lunch at Aberdare Country Club Hotel. Afterwards take a nature walk within the Club. This is while you wait for the Ark Captain to transfer to the Aberdares National Park for overnight stay at The Ark lodge.
Importantly, the lodge overlooks a floodlit waterhole and salt lick. Hence, this attracts huge herds of Elephants, Buffaloes and other wildlife throughout the day and night. The lodge has four viewing decks with balconies and lounges. Therefore this provides superb game viewing from the comfort of the lodge during the Aberdare tour.
Later Dinner and overnight at the Ark.

Day 3: Aberdares National Park – Lake Nakuru National Park
To begin the day with an early morning breakfast, then depart from Aberdares for Lake Nakuru National Park. This is a 4 hours drive, with a brief stop at the Thompson Falls and the Equator crossing. After proceed through the Great Rift Valley escarpment, a scenic drive. Later to arrive in time for lunch and check in at Sarova Lion Hill Lodge.
During the afternoon, a game drive within the shores of the Pink Lake often referred so due to it’s great masses of Flamingos. Currently due to climate change and high water level only few flamingos. However, the famous White and Black Rhino main attraction can be spotted easily along the shores of the lake.
Later, return to the Sarova Lion Hill for dinner and over night.

Day 4: Lake Nakuru National Park – Masai Mara National Reserve
Begin with again an early morning breakfast, then depart Lake Nakuru for Masai Mara. This is a 5 hrs scenic drive within the Great Rift valley floor. Eventually proceeding to arrive in good time for lunch and then check in at the Sarova Mara Game camp.
During the afternoon, a game drive in search for the Big Five Elephant, Lion, Leopard, Black Rhino and the Buffalo. Other rich game within sight includes Cheetah, Wildebeest, Zebra, among-est many.
Later, drive back to the Sarova Mara Game Camp for dinner and overnight stay.

Day 5: Masai Mara National Reserve
Begin with an early morning breakfast and leave for a full day game drive with picnic lunch box to explore the Magic Mara. The Masai Mara plains are full of wildebeest during migration season early July to end September. Subsequently, searching for the Big Five Lion, Elephants, Buffalo, Leopard and the Black Rhino is very fulfilling. Others also include zebra, impala, topi, giraffe, Thomson’s gazelle, Hyenas, Cheetah, Jackal and Bat-eared Foxes, which are regularly easily seen. Otherwise, an extended drive to the Mara River where schools of Hippos and Nile crocodile are abundant in river. These lay in wait for a meal as the wildebeest cross on their annual quest to find new pastures.
Later to return to Sarova Mara game camp for dinner and overnight.

Day 6: Masai Mara National Reserve – Serengeti National Reserve – Combined Kenya Tanzania Safari
This is the last day in Kenya while on the Kenya Tanzania Safari. After the early morning breakfast at Sarova Mara camp, check out, then depart from the Mara with picnic lunch box. The drive to Isebania Kenya Tanzania border, which is a 3 hours scenic journey. Concurrently, going through the migration, processing of Visa and change of vehicle including the driver/guide occurs seamlessly. After proceed to the Serengeti, Tanzania. Again, this is a 3 hours scenic drive to Serengeti Serena Lodge/similar for Dinner and overnight stay.

Day 7: Serengeti National Reserve
To begin with an early morning and afternoon game drive. This is in the rolling grasslands plains of the Serengeti studded with wildlife. However, optional is full day game drive with picnic lunch box. While on the combined Kenya Tanzania Safari, Serengeti plains are an extension of the Mara.
Similarly, all meals and overnight stay at Serengeti Serena Lodge/similar

Day 8: Serengeti/Ngorongoro
To begin with an early morning breakfast and a final morning game drive. During the afternoon depart Serengeti after lunch for Ngorongoro Serena lodge/similar. This is a 4 hours via Olduvai Gorge. Also going through the site of Loius and Mary Leakeys’s renowned archaeological discoveries. Consequently, their findings include some of the man’s earliest known ancestral remains.
After proceeding with an en-route game drive to Ngorongoro Conservation Area. Later to arrive in good time for dinner and over night at the Ngorongoro Serena lodge/similar.
Day 9: Ngorongoro Crater
To begin with an early breakfast at the lodge, then depart with picnic lunch box for full day safari. Begin with descending over 600 meter to the Crater floor which hosts the big five of Africa. Other rich game along the open savannah and flamingos can also within easy sight.
Later to return to Ngorongoro Serena Lodge/similar.

Day 10: Ngorongoro – Lake Manyara
To begin with an early morning breakfast, then depart from Ngorongoro for Lake Manyara National Park. This is a 3 hours drive arriving in good time for lunch at Lake Manyara Serena Lodge.
During the afternoon, a game drive to Lake Manyara which hosts interestingly herds Elephants and the tree climbing Lions. And other rich game includes Buffaloes, Giraffes and many more.
Later, return back to Lake Manyara for Dinner and overnight.

Day 11: Lake Manyara – Nairobi Kenya
This is the last day in Tanzania while on the Kenya Tanzania Safari. After the morning breakfast, depart Lake Manyara for Arusha town. And here you may connect back to Nairobi via flight (optional). However, proceed to the Namanga at the border of Tanzania and Kenya which is a drive 4 hours. While at the border, subsequently passing through the migration, Visa processing and change of vehicles including the drivers takes less time.
Afterwards upon completion of the migration process, proceed to Nairobi arriving late afternoon. This is subsequently followed with dinner at the Carnivore Restaurant. Later dropped off at your hotel or the Airport for your flight out to your next destination.
