6 Day Samburu, Aberdares, Lake Nakuru, Masai Mara Safari Tours Kenya

 

Day 1: Nairobi – Samburu National Reserve.

we pick you from your Nairobi hotel or at JKI Airport upon arrival early morning. Starting with the safari briefing for the 6 days Samburu, Aberdares, Lake Nakuru and Masai Mara Kenya Safari. After, depart to start with the Samburu safari, a 5 hours scenic drive with brief stopovers to samburu. Most importantly, the Equator crossing is an experience to behold on your way in the Samburu safari too.

Day 2: Samburu National Reserve – Aberdare National Park 

Starting with an early morning samburu safari game drive, thereafter return to the lodge for breakfast.

There after depart from Samburu for Aberdares National Park a 3 hours scenic drive for the Aberdare safari. Arriving in good time for lunch at Aberdare Country Club Hotel and a nature walk within the Club as you wait for the Ark Captain to transfer to the Aberdares National Park for overnight stay at The Ark lodge.

Moreover the lodge which overlooks a floodlit waterhole and salt lick attracting huge herds of Elephants, Buffalos and other wildlife throughout. The lodge has four viewing decks with balconies and lounges. This provide superb game viewing from the comfort of the lodge during the Aberdare tour.

There after Dinner and overnight at the Ark.

Day 3: Aberdare National Park – Lake Nakuru National Park. 

You are halfway on the 6 days Samburu, Aberdares, Lake Nakuru and Masai Mara Kenya Safari. After the early morning breakfast, depart from Aberdares for Lake Nakuru Safari which is a 4 hours scenic drive. With a brief stop at the spectacular Thompson Falls and the Equator crossing. There after proceed through the Great Rift Valley escarpment, arrive in time for lunch and check in at Sarova Lion Hill Lodge.

Afterwards in afternoon game scenic Lake Nakuru Safari drive within the shores of the Pink Lake often referred so due to it’s great masses of Flamingos. Currently due to climate change and high water level only few flamingos and the famous White and Black Rhino are the main attraction. These can easily be spotted along the shores of the lake.

Return to the Sarova Lion Hill for dinner and over night stay too.

Day 4: Lake Nakuru National Park – Maasai Mara National Reserve 

Early morning breakfast depart from Lake Nakuru for Masai Mara safari, which is a 5 hour scenic drive. After proceeding to arrive in good time for lunch and check in at the Sarova Mara Game camp.

Thereafter the afternoon game drive, look for the Big Five Elephant, Lion, Leopard, Black Rhino, Buffalo and other rich game include Cheetah, Wildbeest, Zebra, amongst many.

Drive back to the Sarova Mara Game Camp for dinner and overnight too.

Day 5: Masai Mara National Reserve. 

Starting the day with an early breakfast and leave for a full day Masai Mara Safari game drive with picnic lunch box to explore the magic Mara for the Masai Mara Safari. The Masai Mara plains are full of wildebeest during migration season early July to end September. The zebras accompany the wildebeests in the migration and other wild animals to within easy sight include the impala, topi, giraffe, Thomson’s gazelle, hyenas, cheetah, Jackal and bat-eared foxes are regularly seen.

Next searching for the Big Five namely Lion, Elephants, Buffalo, Leopard and the Black Rhino is a fulfilling expedition while on the Masai Mara safari.

Additionally an extended safari drive to the Mara River where schools of Hippos and Nile crocodiles which are abundant in river lay in wait for a meal as the wildebeest cross over on their annual quest to find new pastures in the Serengeti plains.

After the Masai Mara safari, returning to Sarova Mara game camp for dinner and overnight stay too.

Day 6: Masai Mara National Reserve – Nairobi 

This is your last day of the 6 days Samburu, Aberdares, Lake Nakuru and Masai Mara Kenya Safari. Starting with an early Morning game drive, followed with breakfast at Sarova Mara camp and check out. Soon after is depart for Nairobi. This is a 5 hours drive to Nairobi and with enroute lunch too.

Drop off at your hotel or at the airport for your flight out to your next destination.
